I don’t like talking about myself in this kind of forum, but I also don’t want to leave it blank.  If you’re here, you either want to know more about me or know me and want to see what I would put here.

I’m married to an extraordinarily wonderful woman…  She caught my eye back in ‘93, and somehow it all drifted back to where we are now.  She’s my muse and best friend throughout it all.

If I consider you a friend, there isn’t anything I wouldn’t do for you. But being burned has taken its tole.

I work in a field that I love…  My job title is something like “Multimedia Designer”, which usually is followed by more questions.  My applicable degree has the words informatics and new media in it… Basically I do a lot of graphic design for print and interactive. There’s also a lot of web programming (usually in the html, css, and javascript realm).  And then there’s a smattering of other things like photography and DVD programming thrown in.  More than anything else it’s being able to understand how the implementation of many different types of media can be utilized for whatever goal.

I’ve had many hobbies over the years, and I’m trying to get away from the ones that require the amassing of stuff.  Photography has been a hobby of mine for a long time (it’s a little close to what I do for a living that it sometimes gets neglected).  Music was a hobby, it went away, and now I’m entertaining the possibility of bring it back.  We’ll see…

But if you haven’t already surmised, I’m a geek. I love learning and analyzing a little too much.
