Dude, where’s your career?
After the 1996 Oscar, you’ve had only a few movies I’ve seen or heard of, and a whole lot of… How do you say? Really bad movies.
What brought this on? I’ve given a few of his films from Netflix On-Demand a chance… Wow were they gut-wrenchingly bad. Shadowboxer – bad. The Way of War – bad. Lies and Illusions – oh boy was it bad. I’m not even going to try Snow Dogs.
So, was it a fluke? I don’t think so. He’s been genuinely entertaining in more than a few movies. Few Good Men, Judgement Night, that Tom Cruise movie, Outbreak…
There’s only one real good movie that he had a small part in since the Oscar that I liked… American Gangster.
I just hope things get better for Mr. Gooding.
