Music has and will always be important to me.Coming up with a top five songs is like asking me which hair that I’ve lost on your head do I miss the most. I got this whole “top five” idea from the great book and film High Fidelity.  But they had it right in that when making a top 5 list, you need to have parameters.  Otherwise the exercise is a little too constrictive.  So for this list, It’s my top five songs of the recent past. This list would have been different just a few weeks ago, and it’s likely to change frequently. My favorite songs of all time is a completely different list (that involves my URL).
