So I’ve been seeing the Gatorade commercial playing off one of my favorite movies – Monty Python and the Holy Grail. If you haven’t seen the commercial, its pretty good if you’re a fan of the movie.
As far as I can gather, there are two purposes of the commercial: To continue to advertise the current rebranding effort and to drive people to their website to view more content. I finally went to check out the site and check out the rest of the Holy Grail themed content.
Disappointing after the commercial, but it was a little entertaining. But only because I know and love the movie. If you’re not a fan, you won’t really like it. If you really have to go see it, it’s at missiong.com and find the “Quest for G” content.
I also have to just say it… The Gatorade rebrand is completely retarded. G? It’s like a stupid idea from the early 90′s that found a home in a brand that already had a pretty well established market and brand.
