So I just had a nice lunch at the IMA with a friend who gave me a very nice tour of a current exhibit that I found to be lots of fun…
The exhibit is called Nature Holds My Camera (it’s a link too), and it’s running at the museum until July 15th. I’ll be hitting it again before then.
It’s brilliant concept, with very interesting results. The idea was to place cameras on animals to get an idea of their interaction with their environment when they don’t think that a human is watching them. It’s very cool…
There’s footage from an armadillo, wolf, sheep, buffalo, tarantula, scorpion, falcon, and others. It’s all very interesting, and a nicely put together exhibit. There’s even some interactive new media stuff going on. And any exhibit that sells Lomo (or Holga) type cameras in the gift shop is pretty cool. Anyway, it’s pretty cool. Catch it if you can…
