Or that calling the national “headquarters” with a concern may take a minimum of 24 hours for something to be posted to a parcel record? How about that certain divisions of FedEx are run by independent contractors that bid for the rights to deliver in certain areas? While these third party delivery chains may have the FedEx truck and uniform, there is not necessarily any assurance that they have to follow any company standards or be held accountable for their errors. FedEx is one of the largest shipping companies in the world. Indianapolis is a major hub. If they can’t get efficiency practices into implementation, then there’s a serious problem within the company. But it is just a tad better than the State Department passport application process here in the US.
