Tonight is the end of the hiatus / season splitting experiment that has been the third season of Lost. While I like a lot of what was in the first 6 episodes, I would have been better. And the break was just too long (add to that a lack of podcasts that they used to do so regularly, and fans get cranky).
Apparently, this season schedule has already been deemed a failure enough that next season will be 22 episodes in a row…
Or as Dante would say, try not to watch an episode on the way out to your car…

So … Lost is back. And the episode was boring and I’m done with the show.
Their experiment annoyed me, as did this lackluster season.
I guess I’ll just wait to hear what the whole thing is all about once the series finally ends.

You’re not the only friend who’s had those thoughts, but I’m giving it until at least the end of the season. So far it’s not as good as the previous seasons… Add that to the other series’ that are somewhat direct rip-offs (Jericho and Hero’s) and it’s still better than almost anything else on the air.
