My return to blogging is because of a few reasons. One is from what I briefly mentioned in my last post. Another is that blogger finally switched over to the new beta version. The last is that I’ve decided to put the blog on the root and make it my main internet identity. I’ve been lagging on the redesign, and doing so just takes too much anymore. Sitting in front of a computer all day doing sites and design for others makes me not want to spend my free time in front of my computer doing the same.

So this is an easy way to have content that can be quickly and easily updated, with more relevance to what’s really going on in my life at any given time.

Now one thing I’ve never really stated is my blog ethos per se. The reason I’m writing this now is that I’ve recently been a party to some drama thanks to a public blog. A person mentioned myself and a friend by name in the context of very negative connotations, implications, and outright insults. This is completely unacceptable and was part of my dissolution towards blogs in general. While I’d like to be completely open and honest in this medium, it’s not going to happen out of the fears I already had that were recently hammered home. So I’m going to do my best to make his meaningful, but I’m not sure how meaningful I can let it become.
