All of the previously referenced network woes should have been worked out… But like sports results, if I was that sure of it, I’d be going to Vegas to bet on it…
Outside of all that, it’s been a few weeks of not much that makes for exciting blogging. I’ve been going to the driving range with more frequency (thanks Bobcat – I needed to get back into it). I’ve sent a number of hours continuing to edit together a number of old Hi8 tapes from college (the last section I did had a musical number by Pantara and the Biz Markee version of Benny and the Jets). Participated in a panel at IUPUI in a classroom setting (that was interesting)… A little geekage on the first two episodes of Lost…
I also found a hell of a deal on a desktop at Costco that I couldn’t pass up. So in 7-10 business days I’ll be getting my AMD dual core on. The home desktop is getting a little slow, and a little top-heavy – but 30 months of solid service is good for a crunching machine like that. I may turn it into a server of sorts, but who knows… I love Costco.
Blah, blah, blah… Just meaningless drivel because I can’t think of anything more meaningful to blog about (like anything I blog about is that meaningful anyway). I could write a treatise about a discussion I recently had about language being the main root of all things taboo in culture at large, but I don’t want this to be that kind of blog with 1500 word entries and such… So I’ll leave it at that and I hope all is well with everyone…

Now, is there some new computer anagram for the dual core processors named “DVDA”?
Cuz that would be sweet.

Of course… Double video… Double audio… what else would it stand for?
